The mission of Caring Ministries shall be to coordinate the outreach ministries of local churches, to serve those in need of our community with the compassion and dignity of Christ himself, to help them obtain their greatest level of self-sufficiency.

Quarterly Commodities

The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) Quarterly Commodity program helps families who meet the income guidelines and eligibility.

Families that participate in the federal or state programs are eligible.

To apply or recertify you will need the following information:

Colorado Works
Low-income energy Assistance Program (LEAP)
Old Age Pension (OAP), Aid to the Needy Disabled (AND) and Aide to the Blind (AB), Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
TANF
Medicaid Eligible Foster Children
Commodity Supplemental Food Program

If not on one of the above programs, a household is eligible if the household gross monthly income does not exceed 185% of the poverty income guidelines.
